Report of the High Level Group on Clinical Effectiveness
This report, chaired by Professor Sir John Tooke, focuses on the question of clinical effectiveness in UK. It is divided into 3 sections:
  1. a descriptive background of who is currently doing what in the UK
  2. current thinking on how to approach the issues of clinical effectiveness and barriers to implementation of guidelines or effective practices
  3. an overview of current knowledge on the effectiveness of strategies to promote the uptake of clinically effective practice.
