Knowledge Improvement

Knowledge Management Online
Knowledge Management Online is a site offering open source KM education and open source KM consulting methods, tools and techniques. The aim is to develop a common set of well proven knowledge management methodologies, processes, tools and measurements that can be applied, within an industry sector, and across all industry sectors, as a whole. There is a fee for registration, but much of the content is freely available. Click here for more.

Telling the story using a video medium
Rio Tinto is an organisation that successfully uses Communities of Practice. This video presents an example of how their Maintenance CoP fixed a problem by quickly transferring knowledge across the world between people who didn’t know each other. Click here to watch the video.
