Centre for Health Communication and Participation
The Centre was established within the Australian Institute for Primary Care at La Trobe University in April 2009, as a result of the work of the Cochrane Consumers and Communication Review Group. The Centre is focusing on the following themes in 2009:
· Evidence for different modes of consumer participation
· Communication in circumstances involving a rare disease
· Communication and participation with regard to use of medicines
· Communication in situations of healthcare complexity, such as multimorbidity
· Understanding and communicating the science of evidence-based health care
High quality web 2.0 for all? Predictions as to how future developments in web 2.0 technologies might benefit health and social care organizations and people who use their services
