This guide has been prepared for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. The aim of the guide is to promote evidence-based decision-making and help decision-makers determine whether an innovation would work in their health care organization. Guided by a framework that regards adoption as a process, rather than an event, the tool is based on a modified version of the core concepts in Rogers’ Diffusion of Innovations.
