Call for abstracts: Managing scarcity in health care: theory-to-practice and practice-to-theory

The International Conference on Priorities in Health Care is the biennial conference of the International Society on Priorities in Health Care (Ltd). The 7th International Conference will take place at the Sage Gateshead Tuesday 28th – Friday 31st October 2008. The main theme is about achieving greater action on priority setting and improving frameworks used for this purpose across lower and higher income countries for the greater benefit of the populations served. Inviting research proposals
Two commissioning briefs inviting research proposals have been posted by the Methodology Research Programme (MRP). The titles are:
· Use of Bayesian methods to inform health technology assessment decision-making
· Valuing the ‘patient experience.’
