Formalised informality: an action plan to spread proven health innovations
Jonathan Lomas works for the Canadian Health Services Research Foundation. He spent six weeks at the Ministry of Health in 2007, investigating the spread of innovation in the New Zealand Health Sector and prepared this report. The report includes: a general discussion of innovation spread; a review of the current landscape in New Zealand for the production, evaluation, dissemination and adoption of innovations in the health sector; an action plan which identifies innovation related gaps, and highlights the actions and actors needed to address these gaps in the New Zealand Health Sector.
